Onto today's tidbits. I have so much to share today. And I must point out that it will be in absolutely no particular order.

I am re-reading one of my favorite Judith McNaught books, Paradise. I could read this book over and over and still not get enough of it. I have read all of Judith McNaught's books. Unfortunately, she hasn't written anything in several years however, this December (2011) a new book will be released. YAY, I am so E-X-C-I-T-E-D! Click here if you want a sneak peek of Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You. And I must tell you that she IS my favorite author. Danielle Steel, Nora Roberts and Dan Brown round out the top 4.
On Sunday I did my usual blog surf and stopped by Habitually Chic and fell in love with the book Parisian Chic. A style guide by . Words can not even describe how I feel about this book. And it looks like you miss out a bit (on the pictures) if you don't get the french version (ummm, I can't read or speak french). I think I'll stick with the English version. Check it out here at Habitually Chic and buy it at B&N (my first choice) or Amazon. Love it! I'll let you know what I think after I receive it.
I am somewhat enamored with MORE magazine. I'm not exactly sure why but, I really like reading it. I've read the last 2 issues and I'm contemplating a subscription. The cover of the March (2011) issue has Bridget Moynahan on the cover. And a fabulous article and photo shoot. I saw her over the weekend in Battle: Los Angeles and loved her there as well. I really like her as an actress and I think she looks absolutely, positively, fabulous for 40. Yes, 40.
Speaking of MORE magazine I found a few "finds" that I have to share. I was very excited to see that OPI has come out with 50 light-cured Soak-Off Gel Lacquer service {OPI Axxium Soak-Off Gel Lacquer}. Finally! As a former nail technician and what I learned professionally on to do nails -- I love OPI. Not to mention there nail color is fabulous and so are the fake nail tips. Yes, I do really have a collection in my closet. Really, I do. Hmmm, maybe I should be quite so all of you that are "local" don't start overwhelming with "appointments" to do your nails, manicures, or pedicures. And yes, will ALL OPI products. I might just have to do my own nails this weekend. Another find - straight from the beauty news page "lashes": L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara in Black Bronze. Oh yes, the mascara is calling my name. I think it might just be added to my shopping cart this week when I grab the items I need, hmmm...
A little bit MORE from the magazine... This time its the February (2011) issue. I was reading the great article titled Reinvent Yourself Abroad. Of course you know that I read-it. One of the women featured in the article is Karen Henrich a former PR agency owner. Karen now lives in Paris and has a company that takes English-speaking women on customized visits. Can you say you "sign-me-up"?! Yes, I can. Stop over at Nuit Blanche Tours and let me know what you think. Also, I'm looking for someone to go with me...any takers? My visit to Marseilles last year put the France "bug" in high gear. I simply cannot wait to go back or to Italy for that matter but, France (and Paris) is a definite must. And I do keep looking for deals.
I think what really grabs my attention about MORE is the cover shot and the layout. Plus, the articles really are "of-interest" to me.
About 2-weeks ago I bought this fabulous sign from spreadthelove Etsy shop. I first saw it on HighGloss Magazine email. I framed it myself - a little DIY project. Bought an 11x17 poster frame (on sale) from Michaels and hung it in my kitchen. Of course when I initially went to purchase it, it was already sold and I was quite disappointed to say the least. However, I emailed the shop owner/artist on etsy and she re-posted it for me (I had to wait for it to be printed but, it was well worth the wait)! Yay. And the best part it very much matches the orange theme in my apartment! It adds a "homey" fill to my modern/contemporary style.
Alright, its time for me to head back to Paradise with Judith. Until next time.
